We are on the lookout for a Product Manager that can get behind our mission, understand customer needs and bring relentless focus to build an amazing product.

The role:

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for leading product direction, creating roadmaps, figuring out what matters to our customers, and coaching the team to instil a culture of experimenting and shipping fast!

What your role will involve:

  • Helping set our product vision and turning this into actions and clear KPIs
  • Working closely with the team to ensure they know what they’re building and what success looks like
  • Defining new features and seeing them through to release
  • Prioritising our roadmap by rationalising why we’re building what we are
  • Speaking with customers and analysing data to gain new insights, validate hypotheses, and make product decision
  • Supporting and engaging with our customers to understand their needs and how we can help them
  • Abstracting cross-customer requirements and pain points
  • Helping identifying new business areas to target

The ideal Alpha-i Product Manager:

  • Can work really well with engineers, data-scientists and others in the company
  • Has exceptional product instincts, can validate them quickly, and make product trade-offs before starting implementation
  • Understands the big picture and can move easily between this and day-to-day execution
  • Is research and data-driven with a structured and pragmatic approach
  • Can challenge technical decisions, knowing when it’s right to build fast to test, versus building more robust software
  • Is driven by finding value for customers and ensuring we only build software that customers need, want and love
  • Has a strong technical background
  • Has proven expertise in improving productivity, driving customer happiness, and maintaining technology standards
  • Read lots about product management and building stuff people love, and enjoy sharing learnings with the rest of the team
  • Enjoys building, coaching and inspiring autonomous teams

We are on the lookout for a Machine Learning Engineer that is passionate about running experiments with cutting-edge machine learning algorithms.

The role:

You will help us enhance our predictive platform and integrate new methods to solve real world problems. You will be part of world class research and development team working in an exciting and fast growing field. You will have a lot of autonomy and you will make a strong impact in shaping our product.

What your role will involve:

  • Prototype and implement algorithms relating to the forecasting of time series data.
  • Formulate experiments to optimise the performance of our neural networks.
  • Keep track of the latest developments in Machine Learning research.
  • Work alongside our software engineers to maintain a flexible and documented codebase.

The ideal Alpha-i Machine Learning Engineer has:

  • Minimum 2+ years of practical experience in Machine Learning.
  • Solid working knowledge of Python and TensorFlow or equivalent.
  • Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. physics/mathematics/computer science).
  • Prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Passionate about cutting edge research and technology.
